  • Applicant must be between the ages of 13 and 25.
  • Negative self-image has been found to play a role in the development of mental health issues like depression and anxiety, but positive messages from friends can have a huge impact on young people’s self-image, self-esteem, and mental health. That’s where you come in!
  • You can win an easy $1,000 scholarship by posting or sharing a photo of a friend, and highlighting their best qualities that a photo couldn’t fully capture. In the caption of your post, use #WhatsNotPictured and include “text CARE to 38383,” where friends can access additional mental health resources.

  • For this study, data was used from Peterson’s to identify U.S. colleges offering the largest financial aid packages to students in need.
  • These financial aid packages include all forms of financial assistance awarded to students. The numbers reflect federal, college-provided, and private student aid. They also include gift aid, such as grants and scholarships, as well as federal and private student loans.

Following stats are included for each school:

  1. Number of undergraduates receiving need-based gift aid, such as grants or scholarships.
  2. The percentage of students whose full financial need is met by the college.
  3. Annual tuition and fees

 

The Next Genius Scholarship Program 2021-22  – For Grade 12 and Gap Year students:

  • The Next Genius Foundation is a registered charitable trust in India with a vision to identify world changers and connect them with outstanding University scholarships in the United States. In the last 6 years, Next Genius partner colleges have awarded scholarships worth $28 million, helping 170 students to pursue their undergraduate education in the US.
  • The registrations for the new cycle 2021-22 will commence from June 1 and Grade 12 & Gap Year students can register for the scholarship program.

The Immerse Education Essay Competition:
The Immerse Education Essay Competition provides the opportunity for students aged 13-18 to submit essay responses to a pre-set question relating to their chosen subject.

Who can apply: Students of all nationalities who will be aged 13-18 during the summer of 2022.

What should I write about: Our essay questions are pre-defined according to your age group and preferred subject. You are encouraged to tailor your essay response to reflect your interest in your chosen subject.

Key dates:

  • Competition opens: 31st March 2021
  • Competition closes: 1st September 2021
  • Entrants informed of outcome: 1st October 2021
  • Summer Programme dates: July – August 2022

Scholarship:

  • First place winners will be awarded a 100% scholarship to study their chosen subject with Immerse. There will be 10 first place winners across the Immerse Education Competitions.
  • Runners up will be awarded partial scholarships of up to 70% to study their chosen subject with Immerse. The number of runners up will be determined by the number of entries received, and the quality of the work submitted. In 2019 7% of entrants were awarded a scholarship.
  • Entrants will be informed of the outcome of their entry on or before 1st October 2021.
  • You should select the essay topic that matches the subject you wish to study with Immerse.
